GTA 6 Will Run Only At 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Ex-Rockstar Animator Says

According to a former Rockstar animator, the priority of GTA 6 is to achieve 30 FPS (frames per second) when the game launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Check out the complete details below.
GTA 6 To Run At 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
One of the creators of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 recently joined the discussion of the potential performance of Grand Theft Auto 6. The former animator shared information that GTA 6 will run only at 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Despite being scheduled for release this year on PS5 and Xbox Series, GTA 6 remains Rockstar’s best-kept secret, with no new details offered. Along with the controversial rumor of a $100 price tag, news about the game comes from such unusual sources as the actor who played Trevor in GTA V and the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption II.
Former Rockstar members are also speaking out, and if recently a developer requested a remaster of GTA IV, now it is one of his colleagues who sheds light on the performance of GTA 6 on consoles.
In his interview on the Kiwi Talkz video podcast, Mike York rules out a higher frame rate: “I don’t know if they’ll be able to pull off 60fps.”
“I don’t think so. I think they’re gonna be shooting for 30fps – and a locked 30fps, meaning it never dips below that. They’re gonna try to optimize as much as they can to where it never goes below 30,” adds the animator.
York is clear that GTA 6 will run at around 40 or 50 frames once it is released on PC. In addition, this future version will bring other advantages.
“I bet you, like, later, once it’s on PC, it’ll probably get super optimized and changed and new graphics cards that come out and you’ll be able to run it at 60fps probably at that time”
Despite everything, the former Rockstar member leaves the door open to an exception on consoles that of PS5 Pro, thanks to PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology.

GTA 6 and GTA Online Will Be Reportedly Sold Separately

According to a well-known insider, Rockstar Games could adopt an unprecedented strategy for the launch of GTA 6, offering the game in two different editions, that is a complete one, with single-player and multiplayer modes, and another dedicated exclusively to GTA Online, sold at a reduced price as a standalone. Check out the complete information below.
GTA 6 and GTA Online To Be Sold Separately
According to the famous leaker Tez2 who shared this information on GTAForums, Rockstar Games and Take-Two could sell two different editions of GTA 6: a complete one and an online-only one.
This solution is not entirely new for Rockstar, which in the past has made the online modes of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 available separately, but only several months or years after launch. If the rumor turns out to be true, GTA 6 would be the first title from the company to be released immediately in two distinct versions.
The idea would make sense, considering the huge success of GTA Online. Offering a standalone version of multiplayer could attract players who are only interested in the online experience, while still leaving the option to upgrade to the full version at a later date.
Another element to consider is GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription service. The strategy could be similar to that of Xbox Game Pass, which offers premium upgrades for its first-party titles. GTA+ could make access to the standalone version of multiplayer even more attractive, incentivizing new users to try it without having to buy the entire game.
This simply means that it would create an opportunity for additional revenue, as many users might later decide to purchase the expansion to access the story or subscribe to a dedicated service to play the single-player component.
At the moment, however, this is all speculation. Rockstar and Take-Two have not confirmed anything yet, so we will just have to wait and see if GTA 6 will actually be distributed in two separate editions at launch.

Next God of War Game To Be Set in Ancient Egypt Mythology: Rumor

With the Norse saga of God of War seemingly complete with the finale of Ragnarok, fans are left wondering how the Ghost of Sparta’s journey will continue. Well, according to a new report, Sony is “likely” working on a new God of War game set in Ancient Egypt mythology.
Next God of War Game To Be Set in Ancient Egypt Mythology
PlayStation and Santa Monica Studio could already be working on the new adventure of Kratos and Atreus, which would continue the narrative cycle inaugurated with 2018’s God of War with one of the most requested settings by fans.
The community has in fact been clamoring for a possible arrival of Kratos in Ancient Egypt in recent years, an idea that seems decidedly fascinating and which, fingers crossed, may have finally been welcomed by those directly involved.
The latest rumor on the matter comes from insider Daniel Richtman, who in his latest post published on Patreon reveals that Sony has already started casting for a new AAA video game for PlayStation.
Specifically, the PlayStation company is reportedly looking for Middle Eastern actors, which is why the insider is convinced that this could be a casting related to a new God of War set in Ancient Egypt mythology.
A possible sequel to God of War Ragnarok would therefore be ready to change the settings in which Kratos will have to face new challenges, also testing himself with the Egyptian gods.
It is worth remembering that some hints in this regard had already come from the comic Fallen God, which revealed a trip to Egypt by the protagonist and, consequently, suggested the arrival of these very deities in the future.
The time may therefore be ripe to turn this fan dream into reality, although obviously we can do nothing but invite you, as usual, to take everything with due precautions. As soon as we have any confirmations or denials about the next chapter of God of War, you will know promptly on our pages.
In the meantime, we remind you that God of War Ragnarok has been added to the PlayStation Plus Extra Game Catalogue, so if you haven’t tried it yet, this is an unmissable opportunity to download it at no additional cost.
